I have been practicing Yoga since 2003 and teaching since 2007 when I qualified as a RYT200hr certified instructor with Pure Yoga in Hong Kong. I trained under the watchful eye of Patrick Creelman, an Anusara teacher who gave me the tools to transition from the world of Asset Management into the more peaceful and fulfilling world of Yoga - I have never looked back.
I initially found the practice through Hot Yoga and thought that sweating it out whilst almost fainting must be the best way to enjoy this 'pastime' called Yoga. However, I soon discovered the wonders of Ashtanga and diligently found my way to my mat every morning without fail. I eventually plucked up the courage to try a Wild Lotus class with Patrick Creelman, an Anusara inspired class and my yoga world was blown wide open. Patrick and and the amazing team at Pure, Julia McCabe, Diane Lister and Wendy Wyvill broadened my horizons and showed me the beauty of a varied practice. Classes were consistently fun, heart centred and always with a focus on good, solid alignment and this is what I try to bring to my classes today.
I now practice a wide variety of styles that suit my current state of physical and mental body and fuse this into my teaching.
I continue to further my studies and am constantly learning and am thankful to have studied and attended teacher workshops with Seane Corn, Kathryn Budig, Desiree Rumbagh, John Friend and Noah Maze.
I live in Winchester with my husband and two young children.
